NASHVILLE, TN – The Tennessee Republican Party today announced the 2010 Tennessee Victory Leadership Team that will lead and fund TNGOP get out the vote efforts this year. Victory 2010 will work to coordinate volunteer outreach through mail and phones, identify voters, organize a 72-hour turnout plan, and coordinate grassroots activities across the state.
“The Tennessee Republican Party has a track record of very successful get out the vote efforts,” said Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Chris Devaney. “With our team’s exceptional leadership and an extraordinarily strong GOP ticket topped by Bill Haslam, I believe this year is going to be one of the most successful we’ve ever experienced. We’re not taking the heavy turnout in GOP primaries for granted and will continue to work as hard as we can to make sure voters get to the polls in October and November. I want to thank our leadership team for their efforts and we’re looking forward to outnumbering Democrats at the polls this election year.”
