Anticipation, Excitement for Anti-Affirmative Action Event
Nashville, TN – October 5, 2010 – This Thursday, October 7, Vanderbilt University’s chapter of Youth for Western Civilization is hosting AlternativeRight.com executive editor Richard Spencer to speak this Thursday on the costs of affirmative action and diversity programs. The event is titled “The Costs of Diversity: How Affirmative Action is Putting Our Economy, Security, and Society in Peril.”
Richard Spencer is the executive editor of AlternativeRight.com, as well as the former editor of Takimag.com and an associate editor of The American Conservative. He is a founder and board member of the H.L. Mencken club, an independent, rightist cultural, scientific, and philosophical society. In addition to his organizational and editorial pursuits, he recently addressed the prestigious Property and Freedom Society in Turkey.
The event will take place at 6:30 PM in Furman Hall, room 114 on Vanderbilt’s campus and is open to the public. Attendance is expected to consist of around 100 students, professors, and members of the general public.
