Press Release from the Republican Party of Tennessee, May 15, 2015:
Haynes Officially Joins the Republican National Committee
PHOENIX, Ariz.—Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Ryan Haynes is officially a member of the Republican National Committee.
At today’s General Session of the 2015 Spring Meeting of the RNC, Haynes was formally welcomed by RNC Chairman Reince Priebus as a voting member. Haynes joins the 167 other members of the committee, including Tennessee’s other two representatives: National Committeewoman Peggy Lambert and National Committeeman John Ryder.
A statement from Priebus read, “Tennessee has a strong history of leadership within our Party. I’m confident Chairman Haynes will continue that tradition.”
“It is truly a unique privilege to formally join this organization of Party leaders from across America,” stated Haynes. “I am especially honored to get the opportunity to serve alongside my friends, Peggy Lambert and John Ryder. All of us are focused on building the Republican Party and ensuring our Republican nominees up and down the ballot have the support they need to be successful in 2016 and beyond.”
Ryder, who also serves as the RNC General Counsel said, “Chairman Haynes is a welcome addition to the 168. He epitomizes our efforts to bring in fresh ideas to the Party and I have no doubt he will do just that. I’m proud to call Ryan a colleague on the Republican National Committee.”
“The Republican Party just got a little stronger today,” noted Lambert, who also serves as the Southern Region Vice-Chair in the RNC. “We always want good people serving in top positions and Ryan certainly fits that bill. The TNGOP will continue to have a talented delegation representing its interests at the RNC.”
