Press Release from the Tennessee Association for Justice, June 21, 2011:
Keith Williams Named President of the Tennessee Association for Justice
New Board Members Selected from Across the State
Nashville ? The Tennessee Association for Justice recently elected Keith Williams as president for the 2011-12 term. Williams, a Lebanon attorney, replaces Phillip Miller of Nashville who served as president from 2010-11. Miller now assumes the role of immediate past president and Bryan Capps of Knoxville advances to president-elect.
A graduate of Cumberland University and the Nashville School of Law, Williams brings a wealth of experience to the organization. Founding partner of Lannom & Williams, Williams has dedicated his practice to helping everyday people and their families in accident, injury and wrongful death cases. Williams is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. Fewer than 150 attorneys in Tennessee have earned this certification. He has also been a frequent lecturer at legal seminars to other attorneys in Tennessee and in other states.
“I am confident Keith Williams will be a true asset to the Tennessee Association for Justice,” stated TAJ immediate Past President Phillip Miller. “It takes someone with a thorough knowledge of the Tennessee legal system to lead the state’s top trial attorneys, and Keith definitely has the skills necessary to succeed in this role.”
